Subject: Advise for good goggles (covers nose too)
I needed some advice for a good pair of tri googles that also has cover for a nose. I have been using the standard goggles with a seperate nose piece. I absolutely need a nose clip as I can't keep my head in the water without it going in my nose (I've tried everything to avoid needing a nose clip, but just can't swim). Unfortuately in a sprint I lost my nose clip and it seriously hampered my swim. I am doing a HIM and my worry is the same thing may happen in which case I would be in trouble. I have looked at the aqua sphere line which I like, but none have the nose cover attached. I know they have your standard scuba type google, but was curious if there was one specific for tris, less bulkly. Thanks

I'm not aware of any "tri-specific" goggles that also cover the nose.

I don't understand why this is an issue?  Do you not blow air out your nose when you swim?  From my experience, I only have issues with water going in my nose when I go upside down in the water.

I knwo this isn't your question, but I would advise learning to swim without a nose clip.

Just did some searches for "Low Profile Dive Mask"

But, I agree that you should work on breathing out your nose while underwater!

There aren't any tri-specific goggles that I've seen that also cover the nose. I'd suggest just looking at some very low-volume diving masks.
