Had my 'A' race last weekend.  It went great but I haven't been motivated to run, bike or swim in a week.  Last time I had not exercised in a week was in January.  The mental break is nice but I feel weird not working out.   Has anyone experienced this?

Always.  That's why I schedule the next race shortly afterwards - even if it's a few months away - just to keep me motivation.

It's completely normal- and necessary. It's always good to take some time off over the off season, just remember to cut your food intake back with your decreased activity level-unless you want to have to work off those extra pounds!

Use this time to think about last season and what you'd like to improve apon next season. Maybe do some activities you have not done in a while, did you used to play basketball or hockey? Maybe it's time to revisit those sports.

Most of all ENJOY your time off.

Enjoy the downtime.  Nothing wrong with a little time off it's all part of training and recovering.

I topped things off with a HIM last weekend and a TT this weekend. Both went well, so I am done for a couple of weeks. My heart rate moniter is banished for 2-3 weeks... except for that silly little 5k next weekend, but that hardly counts. Next training cycle starts on 10/8

yep,

Ran less than 25 k this week. Feel super fat. Not motivated to do anything more.

Then again, good not to be tired and sore all the time, and I do need a break.

Also, and of some interest, I have found that if you have nothing to train for, going for a 30 min run feels as good as going for a 90 min run.

I've actually been really excited to have a bit of time off to nurse my injuries! I'm game planning for a long and fun winter of biking, swimming and some plyometrics to make me faster on the short course. Just put the next thing in front of you and head for it.
