Subject: I GET A NEW HELMET!
Alright it is not all roses! The only reason I get a new helmet, is because I took a spill this weekend and put a dent in my old one. Road rash on the elbow (about 6 inches), a bruise right arse cheek, and a dented helmet (amen for this thing.. otherwise a cracked skull!!!)

Story:
I thought we were taking a right, and the guy I was with thought we were going straight. I was on the outside of him (if we were GOING RIGHT!), and I turned right into him.

BUT BUT BUT:
MY CERVELO IS OK!!!!!!!!!

I did the exact thing years ago with a high school buddy. Of course our problem was the pretty girl walking down the street. I was focused on the bike (and making the turn) my buddy was drooling over the girl and went straight. I let him know that was a very good way to pick girls up and we sat there and laughed.

Well at least the cervelo is okay and NOW you get to go and buy new equipment. I'm like a kid in a candy store when I walk into the bike shop with cash in my pocket.

Hmm sounds familier.. Oh yeah it happened to me, SAME thing last Thursday! Nothing like running into someone and falling over to make you feel graceful huh?

I think you shoud get one of those cool Rudy Project TT helmets to intimidate everyone out there!!!


Better your helmet than your head.. or heaven forbid you Cervelo!! Glad you're OK.

What's even better is that my wife is into Tri's as well, so I don't have to worry about explaining, or reasoning w/ her on why I am buying something!!!
