Subject: Boy Scouts tradgedy info needed

anyone from the Fort A P Hill area or Bowling Green Va. or have access to any other info regarding a reported 5 scout fatality electrical accident today??

via Yahoo Newsgroups was the report

My son is down there along w 40k other scouts. I sense he is ok but also not much info available

any help appreciated

My son will be there Wednesday. They're going as "visitors". I heard about it on the news at 11pm last night (I should be in bed hours ago I know) and hubby called me at work this morning in a panic. They've got a bunch of adults with them (and cell phones), so one way or another we'd be notified. whew. They planned a whole week of activities around this one day. I'm sure he's having a blast. But I can't help but worry!!

The adult leaders were from Alaska.

They finally released the details of the accident this morning...

The leaders were setting up a large tent and the tent pole hit some high voltage wires above the campsite. I'll see if I can find the link to the article.
