Subject: Coworkers thoughts on his race at Kona
Guy I work with is a long time Tri guy, and has done multiple IM's including Kona. Asked him today if he was planning on catching any of the action, and his thought on his time there. Very cool response, I think:

" Yeah, I'm psyched. I know a couple of people doing it, so all good. It is one of those things you do, sort of like climbing Everest, and you never forget it.
 
Loved the event, everything about it, the swim was amazing, the bike was extremely tough with wind, and I had two flats, and the run was ridiculously hard, hot and humid.
 
As wiped out as I was I remember the last mile, 1-mile to go!! Said the sign, and you hear the yelling, the announcer, the music and crowds are screaming at you. That was unreal!! I think I sprinted the last 400yrds!!!
 
I get Goosebumps just talking about it.
 
It was great."
