i don't think i could fathom running a 2:41:xx marathon as a stand alone, much less as a finish to an IM.

I'm not at all surprised...he set up a race strategy to give him a chance to win.  If he came off the bike with a smaller lead to save it for the run...it wouldn't have mattered.  He can't run sub 2:47.

agreed last year he was 3:02 hard to take that down to 2:45....especially if they are riding 300w+

I race in black...in Hawaii.  I don't notice a difference with the moisture wicking fabric.  It doesn't retain heat like cotton does.
