Commonwealth Games Road Races *maybe spoilers*

The Mens race was really interesting... a bit more chaotic that I would have expected from a lot of racing and some of the judgements on the road tactically seemed a bit interesting (especially NZ!) but there were no radios at all at the event and I wonder how much of an effect it had ...

Some names in the race included: David Millar, Mark Cavendish, Allan Davis, Hayden Roulston,

Oh and check out that rider from Northern Ireland... David McCann! Fantastic to be in the front of the race for almost the whole thing in those conditions! What a fighter!

Temps for the race were over 41Celcius air temp and probably worse on the actualy road and over half the field pulled out during the event which was a little reminder of beijing a couple of years ago....

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this! Its my recommendation of cycling to watch this week
