Subject: First Clydesdale Race 10 days away!
So, on the home stretch of the couch to 5k aggressive plan and will be running my first race ever on 10/24.  I have lost about 18 pounds since I started the program and hit my goal of under 220 today (219.6). Wanted to thank all the BT'ers on this forum because I have been a lurker but been really motivated by all the goodwill and stories here. Looking forward to becoming a racing clydesdale next Sunday.

Just wanted to say thank you for all the kind words.  Had a great time today running my first 5k!  I will post a race report and am proud to say I ran the entire way, which is completely due to the couch to 5k program on this site.  I never thought I would ever run a 5k and it feels really good to complete such a goal after four months.  The unofficial time is 30:32 which is frankly faster than I thought I would go.  I could not have done it without this website.  Thanks again!

That's AWESOME!  Congrats on your 5K... I'm working my way through the C25K program as well and I just signed up for my first 5K as well (Thankgiving Weekend).
