Subject: Anterior Labral Hip Tear Longitudnal

I was just diagnosed with a labral tear after 4 years of pain...anyone know what the longitudnal is about...

In a medical report (eg MRI/radiology) it usually refers to the position of the tear and/or a plane/axis of the imaging (to provide a measurement standard), alternatively it could be something else all together.

This one must be answered by your specialist/referring physician as they will be able to explain which of these it is.....I would like to add that I am a medical typist and in no way qualified to differentiate which of these it may be. Please do seek the advice of your doctor.
