Subject: New in New England
I am new to New England and new to Triathlons.  I have run cross country in school but want to try to expand my horizons so to speak.  I am not a good swimmer but hope to become one in the coming years.

Hey Gary!  Welcome to BT!  I see you list Burlington as your city but I'm not sure if that is VT or one of the many other Burlingtons in New England.  There is a very active Tri and running community in Burlington VT, at least guessing by the number of folks in races I have attended who list this as their hometown.  Hope you can find a good pool to practice in as it is going to be a while before you can swim outside again!
