Just got back from a week long vacation! Surf looks like it will stay small all week, so I should be able to put in alot of yards/miles/minutes over the next few weeks.

Go Birds.

Been busy the last three days:

145k of riding
1.25 hrs walk
3000 yards in the pool

We still have plenty of time, let`s get off the f`ing bottom of the list!

Do you want your family and loved ones to know that you (we) got last place? Can you (we) live with the shame of losing to a bunch of pansies like the ones we`re competing against? Have you no pride??

GO GO GO!!!

(motivational speech over)

Hey - I'm here and listening :-) Still putting out the miles for the team...although I was told yesterday NO running - I'll still try and get my 'running' in using either water jogging or the elliptical.

Come on teamies - WHERE ARE YOU!!

My last post sounds like I`m gay, but I`m not (nothing wrong with that). I just always say- "That`s my second favorite song" or "She`s the second coolest chick I know" or " That`s the second funniest thing I`ve ever seen", in case I`m forgetting first coolest/funniest/favorite/best homosexual at the moment.

Ok Team.. I"m back..

Sorry for dissapearing for a while..
Didn't have a great training week while on vacation and now that im' back I'm gonna have to detox because of all the beer we drank..

anyway.. i did managed to run 6 miles but biked only 11.something.

I'm gonna get a long run in tonight and a long bike in tomorrow to try and salvage the week..

how's everybody else?

Make sure you are logging ALL of your workouts so when I report them on monday morning we'll be as up-to-date as we can be..

Keep up the hard work .. only a week and a half left!!!

will

okay, here are my totals as of today, aug 20th:

pledged actual left
--------------------------------------------------------
S: 8000 yards 4928 yards 1637 race, 1500+ training
B: 150 miles 21.75 miles (ouch) 24.8 race, 103 training (double ouch!)
R: 50 miles 20 miles 6.2 race, 23 training

okay, getting sick really set me back a lot. doing a 2 mile swim today made up for a lot on the swim, but i need to get some more run and bike miles in. i may go for a 7-8 mile run w/ my brother in the morning, and then we might be going for a longer bike ride in the afternoon, depending on how i feel. anyway, i'm hoping i can make it to at least 100% again this month, but i also don't want to over do it. i'll do my best!

Last couple of days teamates. I've made my swimming and biking goals - Yipee...but looks like I'm going to fall short in the walking. I overestimated that one considering I was still recovering from my injury. All in all...a pretty good month.

Lets finish strong!!!
