What is the best way to keep people updated on my progress during the event?  Is there a way to post my splits on facebook, twitter, or e-mail?  Will IronmanLIVE.com be broadcasting the event?

Ironmanlive will cover it and will have an athlete tracker on line. For the text, FB, Twitter, and email splits, go to www.racedaytracker.com and set up an account. A BT'er actually set this up and it works amazingly well. After I used it at IMCdA, several of my friends did for 70.3 and 140.6 races. It works very nicely.  It doesn't cost--but it is nice to pass on a donation for the use of the service--though he has often said to do the donation post race so you know it actually worked for you.  It has worked for many people I know.

Hey everyone, I got the page up for all of the BT members participating.  If there is anyone else that needs to be added send me a message and I'll get them on the list.  The splits will be added as soon as I know what they are.  The link is:

Ouch, good luck.  Vitamin C may help as well.

Does anyone know a place close the the race area that has a pool to get some swims in at ?

If you have a car, the El Dorado pool is not far. I love this one as it's open long hours, cheap and always on the empty side - I've never had to share a lane here ever. http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/parks/eldopool[/QUOTE]

Just in case anyone is in town and looking for a place to swim this afternoon, I just called El Dorado and they are open for lap swim from 5pm-8pm and the cost is $3.

Safe travels everyone!

Anyone interested in IMAZ watching thread, I posted about the idea here.

Obviously those of you racing won't help out but others read this thread so I figured I'd post here to get the word out.

Yikes.  Hope you feel better soon. I am feeling some respiratory thing coming on but hoping I can fight it off with vitamin C and some down time.

Accuweather forcasts perfect racing weather.  Maybe a bit windy, if you call 7mph windy!  No chance for rain.  69 degrees and mostly sunny, some clouds.

Several days ago the chance of showers was listed for Sunday, but it seems the front is slow moving and it's now on Monday.  Forecasts in this part of the country are extremely accurate, so you can bank on a good race day!!

Flew in last night. Sitting in Paradise bakery enjoying some coffee. Heading to race site soon to check-in, get bike (hopefully tri bike transport is there), buy some stuff at the store, get in a workout, then a massage. Excited!

I'm wearing one as well. I used it at IMKY last year and it worked great. Although I'm pretty impressed with the RaceDayTracker app as well.

Checking in today and checking out the expo, then getting a short ride in sometime this afternoon.  Hope everyone is feeling good and excited about Sunday.  My parents are in town and I think more excited about it at this point then I am.  I am trying to stay cool and calm, but it's hard.......

Is everyone doing the dinner and meeting on Friday or just meeting?
