I was wondering if any of you gurus out there could recommend one Mobipocket converter software over another?

I see there's some that are free, some are free trial versions, and of course others are pay.  At this point not sure I want to pay for the software but don't want to start willy-nilly downloading free software either.

So if anyone is familiar with the software and could steer me in the right direction, that'd be great!

So what exactly are you trying to convert? From one ebook format to another?

I personally use Stanza for all my ebook converting needs. Change txt --> epub, or whatever.

Thanks for the replies!  I've had my Kindle for awhile and been gleefully happy downloading pay books or even some of the free ones, but had these grandiose ideas of using the library more.  I see that many books have a 20-40 day wait, which isn't monumental, but was a bit surprised.

Anyhoo, most libraries have their books in EPUB / PDF format, some with Mobipocket.

I know when you Google converters you get a plethora of options and I figured someone(s :-) here would be a bit more knowledgeable than I.
