Anyone doing RedMan in OKC?

Redman is on my list for next year (potentially IM).

I lived in OKC for a number of years and ran the OKC Memorial Marathon in April.

I don't know if it translates to the Redman, but the OKC Memorial Marathon was one of the supported I have ever done.

Lake Hefner is a great venue and there is a running track around the lake. (The marathon covered the east side of the lake from miles 14 through about 18.) Additionally, the roads in the area are generally well maintained for the ride.

One note, the weather in September can be all over the place. Hard to predict.

Also, as you look at the route, the ride takes you far north. Although OKC is primarily flat...that area is a false flat north providing what I am assuming could be a nice return ride.

Overall, I think it could be a great triathlon!

thanks for the FYI. still trying to figure out if I can afford all the travel. It would be fun if I could!
