For Christmas I got the Ironman Series by Yurbuds. Ive always had issues with earbuds staying in my ears, not anymore. Best 50.00 Ive ever spent on earphones.

Here is the link:http://www.yurbuds.com/ybcart/products.php

I just bought a set of these too and have to agree. So far so good. Very comfortable, REALLY good sound, and they stay in place. Haven't logged tremendous miles with them yet but so far so good. I'm pleased.

I'll have to check that out.  I just bought my first Ipod for Christmas and noticed that the earbuds that came with it are not going to stay put.  In fact, I'm having trouble getting them to stay put while just sitting.  Years ago, I had an MP3 player, and the ear buds that came with that were very nice, but I haven't seen that style in a while.  Those ear buds actually hung over the ear, and never fell out.  Those are probably dated though.

I agree although I have not run with mine yet.  I have worn them around and they don't fall out.  My 2 year old actually worn them around for probably 30 minutes an they did not fall off of him.

I shelled out $50 for their top of the line pair but for those looking to save $$ you can spend $15 and just get the replacement bud covers.

I got some yurbuds along with adapters which fit them to my Bose earbuds.  They work extremely well.

Anyone find it ironic that there's are Ironman branded earbuds but you can't use them during races!

I noticed that at the expo of the last marathon I ran...I just chuckled.

I have used them...and they are awesome...but I don't really train with music anymore, so no real need for them.  I was using the $15-20 version that just covers your existing earphones...and lost one of them after about a year.  Still a good investment though...I would recommend them just for general listening with ear phones...way more comfortable.

I think it's funny they are "performance enhancing."  Does that specifically mean my run performance will be better for wearing them?  They do look cool, though.  The regular non-branded version is only $29.

I just read about 7 reviews on Best Buys website and 2 of 7 people didn't like them.  Both said they were falling out.  I'm thinking they're putting them in wrong or something.  Either that or it has someting to do with their ear shape.  Anybody have them fall out?

I had a set for a week.  They don't fall out, at least for me, but I couldn't stand the rattle of the wire in the plastic sheath at the bottom of the bud.

I use the Klipsch s4s http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-IMAGE-S4-Noise-Isolating-Headphones/d... />
With the Comply Foam tips...comfortable, great sound and stay in the ear

I believe they come in 6 different sizes.  I bought them from an expo...so there was somebody there to size me.  If you buy from best buy...I suppose it's easy to buy the wrong size.

When I ran with them...they were locked in solid.  No movement...if the wire gets snagged, it's more likely the wire will disconnect from your Ipod than the buds coming out of your ear.

As far as rattling...I got the version that just covers the ear bud...nothing was covering the actual wire.

Yup.  they don't work for me.  I sent in the ear photos, tried multiple sizes, had them 'professional installed' by a trained yurbuds technician.  They fell out.  Literally "fell out" when running.

So, my ears are not a good shape for either the standard ipod headphones, or even yurbuds.

they don't work for everyone.

Am I the only one that is satisfied with Ipod ear buds?  I've never had a problem with these.  Been using an Ipod for 4 years now and always used the ear buds that came with them.

Never fall out, sound is OK I guess.  I listen to a lot of podcasts so it doesn't affect the sound that much.  And, the only time I ever use it is running or flying.

There is a right and left ear for the ear buds.  If I get them in the wrong ear they do fall out.

enjoy,
Duane

2 out of 7 probably means 2 out of a 100, where the other 93 didn't respond because they worked fine.  Most people aren't going to leave feedback if they're happy.  I wouldn't put much stock in the two.

I wish I'd read this before I ordered!

I have the worst time with ear buds.  They all not only fall out, but they won't even go completely IN my ears.  The best I've found are the XS skull candy ones and even those are no good for exercising (but they are ok when sitting around).  I have to resort to an old pair of 'headband' type earphones when I run on the treadmill.  I can't even comfortably use the over the ear type (they hurt inside my ears after about 20 min).

I got all excited and ordered the yurbuds (sent in a photo), but now I'm doubtful they will work.  Damn it.

Why are my ears shapped so oddly?!?!

Ironman branded earphones now...seriously?  Sometimes I just chuckle when I see some of the stuff that Ironman brands their name to.  I wonder whats going to be next?

I called and talked to the Yurbuds folks before ordering because I wasn't sure if you had to worry about sizing for the Ironman version or not. For the regular Yurbuds you send them a couple pictures of you ear buds in your ears. This was not necessary for the Ironman series. They send you two size adapters with them and a full set of earbuds. They have a fit guarantee so if they are falling out or don't fit they will take care of it. (Either size or refund.) For me, the left one goes in easier then the right . . but I think it is because I am VERY left handed and do a better job putting it in. It takes a few minutes to put the right one in but they DO NOT come out. I even got my towel tangled with the cord for my earbuds the other day and still they didn't pull out.

Yeah...I'm guessing your ear looks like this...
