You finished despite a nasty cold! Great job.

And you weren't last. Even if you were, you still beat all those people who didn't finish at all. AND think abou all the people who didn't even start!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend and be proud of yourself!!!

ah, the infamous sand run at any tri on Ft DeSoto. Fun, ain't it? Escape has stairs! Then Sand! Can you rack your bike by the handlebars?

I"m gonna do a race there in a couple weeks.  This one was too pricey for me.

I always have fresh running socks to change into if I need to by the time I come into T2.

Did ya have a great time??

Nice sand huh? I did SUncoast there last year and vowed never to race there again esp with the uber long run from the swim exit to T1 and the dreadedn sand run. Good job in hard condidtions

You know in triathlons, you have to expect the odd challenge here and there.

I think you're being much too hard on yourself, it was your first one, and it is totally understandable that things didn't go quite as smoothly as you planned them.

On the bike, try racking it by the brake levers.

On your training blog, REMOVE that You Suck picture, cause you SO don't!!!  I think you did great!  Probably faster than I could have done, that's for sure.  And I don't suck, so... neither do you.
