Want to race Tri P'tree City, GA

I too waited too long for the Peachtree Tri and am instead going to do the Callaway Garden sprint tri on September 9th (https://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1218470).

It is 1k swim/30k bike/5k run - and get this: it is billed as ".. a triathlon for those who hate to swim " thereby making it irresistable?

Good luck finding a number, I have heard good things about the race.

Oops, got the date mixed up - the Callaway sprint tri is on Sunday September 4th, not the 9th ... which is Labor Day weekend. (see link above)

The legs are a bit longer (1k/30k/8k) but I am told that the course is relatively flat ... except, of course, the swimming is ALL uphill.

Good luck finding a number for the Peachtree Tri. If successful, then post your thoughts about the race as I have heard good things about it and would like to do it next year. (Note to self: sign up earlier!)

Actually I misunderstood your reference to number, but maybe you could find someone at the forum willing to sell.

I actually decided to do the Callaway race since I couldn't find a number for the P'tree City. I'm a little nervous because it is a bit longer than I had planned, but hopefully it won't be too bad.
