Oh, and I wouldn't worry too much about how you looked.  The guys they show after carrying the last place finisher across the line look much cheesier than you (jungle hat guy & girly short mustache guy - no offense if that's another BT'r ;-)).

Are you talking about the running shorts?  I must be pathetic as those split shorts are the only kind I run in!  And my latest purchase is a pair of neon orange Saucany Kinarva's.  Do you happen to know what happened to Cassandra?  Is she still racing as well?

Yeah, I did my first in '86. They keep trying to kick me off this site and go to veterantriathlete.com but that site is lame, so I keep haunting this place.

Not sure on the narrator/commentator. Espn guy, but I hear his voice from time to time as well.

Cassandra: I don't think she's racing anymore...at least that I know of. I see she's on fb, but hadn't really made contact with her since early 90's when we were doing the junior thing. I might have to say hi and send her this link.

I need to find those razor blades for my run today!
