The title says it all.  Looking for an all inclusive resort to spend our honeymoon.  Looking for the experience of CoJ.

I stayed at a boutique hotel called the Water Club once (not a "kids" place). wasn't all-inclusive, but it was very nice and fun. they had a nightclub, restaurant and a pool on roof.  We went to the Intercontinental to play a few times.  Hiked the tropical rainforest (only one in "usa").  Also went to a killer sushi place but for the life of me i can't recall the name.

if you are not sold on San Juan I suggest Turks & Caicos.
Part of the thrill of San Juan was all the amazing restaurants around town- kind of defeats the purpose of all-inclusive if you want to go out and eat!

I would suggest the San Juan Islands up here in Washington but I know that is not what you are looking for    wherever you go, be sure to Enjoy!

It depends where you want to stay.  Most of the all inclusive resorts are outside San Juan, meaning not close to Old San Juan and Condado which is where most of the  attractions and good restaurants are.  Part of the charm of San Juan is discovering new places and interacting with people which are very nice for the most part and you will loose a lot of that with all the inclusives.  I would highly encourage you to rent a car and discover the island.

I travel weekly to Puerto Rico for work and normally stay in San Juan, so i know the city pretty well.  Let me know what you want to get out of the trip and your must haves and i can give you a recommendations of what to do and where to go...

One thing i can tell you before hand, you will enjoy your trip.
