Subject: Faciitis vs faciosis?
Found this. http://www.plantarfasciopathy.org/whats-really-wrong So most of us have faciosis then not faciitis? Wouldn't the podiatrist diagnose faciosis if they felt it was degeneration and not inflammation?

I wouldnt overthink it...it is more of a slight difference in terminology.  This link will probably explain it better
