So, hi all. I'm caught up on the new thread! Yay! Things have been busy here. I am doing PT twice a week, and went back to work a little over a week ago. My normal 10 or so hours a week has been more like 20 hours/wk average so far. One of the other nurses is on maternity leave, so there are shifts that have to be covered. The basement still isn't being fixed up--although they did come measure for the sheetrock and the carpet. Hopefully that's a good sign for a busy week for me, right?

I also started my new training plan for the sprint I'm doing in May. That means I  am now working out 5-6 days/wekk as opposed to my usual 1 or 2. And I swam!!! (Did I come in and tell you guys that? I can't remember...). It was just breaststroke, and only 300 yards total, but still...I swam!

Good morning Ghoulies!

I spent my day yesterday sitting in the woods for a Search And Rescue dog who was doing his evaluation for certification could find me. I sat out there a little over 2 1/2 hours before I was found. It was quiet, and I was warm sitting in the sun, I read 200 pages of a book, it really didn't seem like I was out there that long.

Hope everyone else had a good day!

Morning Ghoulies. It is another beautiful day here to try to get some stuff done. However, my "grumpy old men" meeting is at 1:30 today. Right smack dab in the middle of the day. sigh. I am tempted to skip it but If I am out in the yard at least three of them will see me as they drive by.

Wear camo!

You were outside and lost track of time!

You lost a contact in the yard and you couldn't drive without it!

You gave up grump old men meetings for Lent!

You were only outside to take a brief respite from your regularly scheduled job. You went back inside shortly because, well, the meeting was in the middle of the work day!

All are very good excuses. I skipped the last meeting because I was in such a b--hy mood so I really should go to this one. However, a lot can happen between now and then

I've been curious.  How do you qualify for a "Grumpy Old MEN" meeting?

Off to my meeting. What a waste of a day!

Kendra, our town is largely filled with retired people. It is mostly men who are involved with government issues and this board is an advisory board to the town council. Ergo, grumpy old men and one b--ch!

Afternoon! Day 1 of another 3 week build that I will finish in Iowa...haha.

Swam 3500m this morning. I need to stop copping out with pull with paddles and actually swim...haha. So I did 2000m of actual swim set this morning and then some kick and pull after.

Good morning Ghoulies!

It hit 81 here yesterday! Typically as soon as we get home it's time to do homework. Last night I had to run a few errands, so the kids went with me and we had dinner at Sonic, with the car windows down. Then we played outside until 7:00 before we went in to do homework. It was just too nice to be inside.

The high today is 56, although it was 59 at my house this morning. It's rainy though, but that should pass this morning.

Have a slam dunk day everyone!
