I love my new zoot Tempo 3.0's. I am fine wearing them with socks, but when I practice wearing them without sock (which is why I bought them, to go sockless for sprint triathlons) my feet feel fine but the back pull tab rubs on my Achilles and after my 4-mile brick run yesterday it was rubbed raw and bleeding, but only on my left foot. Will I build up a callous here? Should I put Vaseline or something else on the affected area for runs? Did I just buy these shoes for no reason?

I have the same shoe, and noticed on longe runs, my right area you describe did the same thing. This was on an Oly at the end of the season last year.

I had a race a week and a half ago, and put body glide on both heels inside the shoes, and had no chafing/rubbing at all.

I have the same shoes.  At first I needed to use body glide on the back of my heel/Achilles.  Now I can run in them without any glide.

Thank you so much for your replies! I have body glide, I love that stuff, will start applying it to the area.
