Subject: Need advice on Orca wetsuit sizing

Hello there,

I am new to the sport but love this. So I decided to buy Orca S3 wetsuit and wonder which size fits me.

Me: chest 43, Height 6'0", Weight 200-205

Orca sizing chart says:

Size 7: chest 38-41, Height 5'8"-6'1", Weight 165-180
Size 8: chest 41-43, Height 5'11"-6'2", Weight 180-196
Size 9: chest 43-44, Height 6'1"-6'4", Weight 196-213

I wonder which one, size 8 and 9, fits me. Should I choose larger one or smaller one? Can you give me advice?

Thanks!

Stu

Good choice with the S3.

Based on my experience with fitting people in Orcas, over the phone and in person, in such an instance, sizing up is safer.  This is because Orca has a performance fit style, meaning that it run a little tighter.  If you end up buying online, make sure the retailer allows for a exchange for the correct size.

OneTri, where I work, allows for an exchange if it doesn't fit properly, so long as it hasn't been worn in the water.  Hope this helps.

I've got an Orca Sonar.... in a much smaller size.

I found their size recommendations to be spot- on.  some complain that they 'run small', but my guess is that they just don't understand how a wetsuit is supposed to fit.  If it goes on comfortably the 1st time you put it on... it's definitely too big.
