Still watching the first episode and trying to figure it out.  Is interesting.  Hopefully it gets better.

"and the things we do for love"    jeez the climber kid didn't last long.    Have a hard time understanding the names of everyone.

The dwarf guy was from  the original Death at a Funeral.  Not sure of his role yet.

Having read the book, part of me wishes I were in your position - not knowing what comes next.

Stick with it.  It's an awesome story.

BTW - The brother/sister thing is based on real world royal family arrangements throughout history.

I liked it too.  Mostly because I'm in favor of pushing Boromir's kids out of windows.  That's what he gets for trying to take the ring from Frodo.

I watched 15 minutes of the beginning an 15 minutes of the end (it was on HBO East and West at the same time, or something like that).  I like it so far.  I'm looking forward to the full episode.

Never read the books or even heard of them, but I'm good for a good fantasy/medieval romp in the hay.  I thought it was very good.

Aw, but he came around in the end, did he not?

haven't seen the series yet, but the books were great, if a bit slow building.

Wish I had cable. The books were really good. Fat as phone books, but really good. Didn't start getting lame 'til the 4th one. I suspected he wrote himself into a corner, but am still excited for the 5th one anyway.

There's lots of characters and subplots with twists, etc. but the books were easy to follow. Hope the show is too.
