Subject: Ironman 70.3 Syracuse - anybody in?

I am going to register for this event. I will fly to JFK and then rent a car to Syracuse.

Can you give me some info on hotel, where to stay and how is the bike course profile?

In general do you suggest the race overall?

I did it last year as my first tri. I had a blast, the bike course is very hilly (at one point I hit 50 mph), the race is well supported and the temperature was perfect. Good luck, enjoy it!

I see that they have changed the run course from last year, can anyone from the area tell us how the new course is in regards to "rolling hills"? Thanks for any info.
