Subject: Edge 500 / Aerobar Mounting Ideas?
Hi Everyone, I am looking for ideas on how to mount my edge 500 on my areobars. I have a stock 2011 P2 and am curious if the Profile Universal Computer Mount is compatible with the Edge 500 mounting system. Any thoughts?

Sure, if you get the long UCM. The Edge 500 mpunt is versatile and can be mounted directly on the aerobars as well. But a superior set-up, IMHO, and one that I have on my P2, is to mount it on the stem and leave the aerobars open to mount a water bottle.

I bought the Profile Design mount and the part that goes around my aerobars is much to short. It is just barely large enough to go over my thumb. Double check your areobar diameter vs. what size it is.

Hmmm, are you trying to go around the wrapped part of your bars? Because over the years, through at least six sets of aerobars, I've never had a UCM that didn't fit in that regard. Doesn't hurt to check though.
