I just found out about this and i believe that registration opens this Friday.  It is on the same course as the Columbia Tri.  It is a great course - a little hilly but a really nice ride through the farm country.  If it is anything like Columbia I know it will fill up fast!  I'll be there...will any of you be joining me?

How do the hills compare to the South Carroll course?

Thanks for posting this. I'm moving to northern VA in January and I'm just starting to explore what races are available.

Is this a wetsuit swim? Coming from Louisiana, I've never used a wetsuit so that will be something new for me.

August in Columbia it is very doubtful that you will need to use or even want to use a wetsuit.  This month alone we had over 10 days of over 90 degree weather.  I know this course pretty well.  I did not do the Columbia Tri this year because I was not ready for an Olympic but this summer I have been riding the bike course.  It is hilly but nice.  Hope to see you there!
