I'm simply amazed.  Most of my relatives (esp men) die well before that, and this guy is doing a triathlon.  Love it.

Jungle Jenn ... thanks for posting. It was my first time attending a triathlon ... meeting, interviewing and watching Dr. Taylor was truly an honor.  And, I may need to start some training ... 

Curious how you came across 2nd Half Lounge and found the story.  Thanks again! Dr. Taylor deserves the recognition.

My first  year of triathlon, the good Dr. was a "youngun"...at age 87.

If I remember correctly, he got the loudest cheers of anyone that day.

Inspired quite a few ppl...glad to see him still at it.

He seriously looks not a day over 70.  All that exercise has kept him young!  Very inspiring.
