Subject: Carbon Wheel Brake Pads

I bought a pair of reynolds strike carbon wheels that came with brake pad inserts.  I currently have a Cervelo P2. I thought the carbon wheel pads would fit into the pad holders but the current pads are one-piece and there is no way to put the carbon pads in them.  Is there a pad holder that I need to buy for these?

Thanks

Tom

I just put ceramic pads on my P3 Ultegra and had see had to add new shoes to accomodate the pads.  Check out the above tech doc from Shimano and consult with your LBS to make sure you add get the right size shoe to accomodate your pad.
