Comments: Route was well marked and cue sheet was fairly easy to read. There were plenty of rest stations with water, gatorade, ice, bread with peanut butter and jelly, and some fruit. I think I should have drank more water versus GU2O/Gatorate. I felt a little nauseous and I am thinking it was from that. I had a stitch in my side and neck for about the last 20 miles so I wasn't riding as hard as I could have. My legs felt pretty good once I was finished. What would you do differently?: Drink more water versus GU2O/Gatorate. Post race
Warm down: Ate some food as we waited for Craig and Brad. What limited your ability to perform faster: Side stitch. Event comments: I would do this ride again next year. It was great that there was a bunch of us riding together...it made it more fun! Last updated: 2005-08-28 12:00 AM

Woke up and ate cereal with a banana, coffee, and an english muffin with peanut butter. Since the start time was anywhere between 6:30am-10am, we weren't in a huge rush to get out the door.
Brad, Craig, Amy and I met up with Ron, Karolyn and her friend, Gary. After checking in, we were off.
