So, I am considering doing my workout tomorrow. (Bike: 30 min warm, 30 time trial, 30 cool) on my trainer in the driveway. (I'm 5 weeks into recovering a femoral neck stress fracture from marathon training.) I live in San Francisco, so "in my driveway" is probably equivalent to "on my neighbor's porch" for many of you-- by comparison, I am not allowed to park 'in my driveway' because it is also 'the sidewalk,' according to the DPT. And we also live along a well-traveled stairway up to a popular dogpark and one of the best views of SF, so loads of tourists.

So, would you? Do you keep your gimp indoors, or would you proudly dork it out in the driveway? I'm tied between thinking it would be a hoot and thinking it would be really uncomfortable in a "WTF is she doing?!" kind of a way.

Do it!!!!  Set up a sign w/ your favorite charity's name and just watch the tourists give you money.  You'd better actually donate the money though.  If not. . .bad mojo!

You live in San Francisco.  You doing a trainer ride in front of your house doesn't even qualify for a second glance, there are many more "interesting" things for tourists to see.  I say go for it.

You live there ... tourists don't.  Don't consider it for 1 more second ... you'll never see these people again in your lifetime.  Saddle up and RIDE!

I love the charity idea!  And, I could opt for a boombox and some Lady Gaga to draw some more eyeballs. My friend did come in a few hundo short on his AIDS Lifecycle fundraising goal... But, I just noticed that Ironman 70.2 Championships are on TV at 2PM. Decisions!
