Subject: Twin Lakes Tri on Sunday
Anyone doing the Twin Lakes tri this weekend?  The bike course looks like it has alot of turns-- is it worth riding a tri bike?  Is it the same course as last year?  Anyone know the water temp?  Looks like we'll have some nice weather.

I did it last year and am registered for Sunday. I do remember the bike having lots of turns. The water was pretty warm last year, if I remember correctly.

Race director replied back-- current water temp is 76 degrees.

Had a great time this morning! Did anyone think the run was short? I didn't think I was going as fast as the results say.

Had a great time as well- minus the elbow-inflicted fat lip in the swim.  Great swim course in this tri.  Bike was pretty bumpy though and lots of turns.  Agree with you that the run seemed short.  What a great day for a race.
