if you don't mind me asking, my wife is curious about how much that set you back, she wants her bike custom painted in the worst way!

I love hot pink.  That bike would match the nail polish I've worn to most of my races.

That is SO amazing!!  I love the paint!  I'm guessing the pink is sparkly and we can't tell very well in the picture?

The bike break down was $50, the painter charged $150 for the job and another $100 for the paint(which was base sealer, the pink color, flash reducer, and transparent base) bike rebuild was $50, and another $10 for new black brake and shifter cables, as well profile design gel bar tape for $15 after installing new cables. To me it was money well spent, I wanted a pink bike badly without buying a new bike, and I wanted hot pink, not light pink or cotton candy pink, it had to be hot pink. Now I will no longer have those "lost in transition" moments

It is slightly sparkly, I was trying to show it in the pic, but my camera is not that good.

Thanks! The painter wanted to clutter it up with stuff, but I told him I wanted simple. I saw Sofie Goo's bright green Ridley at Ironman Texas and I was inspired to go with a bright color with only one word or symbol on it, and I love skulls, especially odd looking ones.

What kind of bike do you have?

What type of material is your frame made of?

Very nice!

Very nice... I have been considering getting one of mine painted but was told it voids the warranty. Is that true with this as well?

It voids the warranty on the frame if you paint it. This is an aluminum bike, and I plan on upgrading to a carbon bike in about 3 years or so, so I am taking my chances. I feel so much cooler on a pink bike
