Subject: OWS near Herndon?
I'm staying at a hotel in Herndon for the weekend and hoping I don't have to do all my swimming in the hotel pool. Anyone have any recommendations for OWS in the area?

I was actually there over the weekend, it's a great place to train.  They changed their course this year that's 800m.  Only bad thing is it's only certain weekends and only from 2:30-4:30 on Sundays.

Yea the quarry would have been my suggestion too, but I don't think there is a swim there this weekend... I think the next one is last weekend of the month. 

Do you have a car?  If so, Sandy Point (in MD) might be an option for you.  I know a bunch of the Marylanders get together there.  Its about an hour from Reston, depending on traffic.
