Pre-race routine:

Stayed overnight at a hotel. Got there at 6, setup transition area, got bodymarked, found all ins and outs and checked out the beach and the long T1. Put on wetsuit during pre-race meeting.
Event warmup:

Walked down to the swim. Half hour delay at the beach due to a broken down car on the course. REALLY HOT during the wait.

Post race
Warm down:

Drank waterbottle and sat in the shade. Loved the filled cold waterbottle and cold washcloth they handed us at the end. The canopy and tub of ice was nice too.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

HEAT. If it hadn't been so hot or if the course had been shaded, I feel my run would have gone better. Started the run in 2nd and ended last.
