Swim
Comments: started out good, got a good draft off the big shoulder girl but somehow got off course. Could be that blow to the temple. Ow What would you do differently?: swim more than once in 3 weeks time Transition 1
Comments: no problems but first race in wetsuit Bike
Comments: once again, should have trained more on hills. A triple would ahve helped in front but hubby's hill training of years back helped the most Finally had all the hammer gel in all the right places. YEAH It only took 5 races to figure it out What would you do differently?: ride more hills Transition 2
Comments: I felt like a rock star, finally. No problems with shoes or anything. could have run faster with the bike if I could feel my legs Run

Warm down: drink water, water, water. pack up, ride home. back up one of those damn hills. What limited your ability to perform faster: genetics, lack of preparedness for the bike Event comments: nice race. I wish there had been more info about the race prior to the race. right up until the swim start, I didn't know we were starting at the opposite end of the beach. I hate race day packet pick up but I really loved the course. Next year I will have a bigger ring in back and more hills under my belt and I will be blazing fast.
