Woot for Chrissie!  The coverage is streaming fine here in Vietnam but unfortunately I had to start my long run just as she went thru 10 miles. No mobile technology so couldn't follow it on the road, so I did a little "race" with her (of course I hadn't biked at all first, let alone 112 miles). Did about 14 miles and made it back with just time enough to tune back in and watch the last km or so. And kudos to Rinnie for working it to the end.  What's the deal with rolling at the finish line???????

Look up Blaise......raced Kona with ALS......did a roll at the end.  Lots of Kona finishers honor him and the Blaizeman ALS foundation with a celebratory roll.  He died a year or so after that infamous "roll" over the finish line.

Caitlin Snow would have run a course record today ... except for the fact that Mirinda Carfrae and Chrissie Wellington went 2:52.

Top American Pro Women...Cait rocks! She is only 29.

She lives in the greater Boston area and is super kind to everyone.

Tj is in the energy lab. Slowed to about 4mph. Hopefully taking in fluids an resting the kegs for the run back.

No, but who else in triathlon has never lost at their chosen distance, plus stays cool under the pressure every time to still win like she demonstrated today and 2 years ago when she got the flat?

Congrats to Jozsef Major from HUNGARY! He finished 19th! Great job, buddy! Mirinda Carfrae was a monster on the run once again. I wish it would have been closer at the end to see a sprint finish with Wellington.

Some pretty fast running there today by some age groupers with one of them having the 2nd fastest time of the day at 2:43. Pro women with the 1st, 2nd and 4th fastest times ever.

She's super nice.  She passed, er, lapped me (like I was standing still) on the bike course at CdA and yelled out that I was looking strong and to have a great day!  Really awesome!
