I am Michelle and am from the UK. I am 33 and have completed 3 ironman distance events. 2 in UK and also Ironman Austria.
When I got back from Austria in 2003 i discovered i was pregnant.........with TWINS. they are now 18 months old and I have not done any training since they arrived.
I am contemplating getting back into the sport but I am so knackered all the time i don't know if it will be possible.

I welcome any tips or advice as how to get back onto the triathlon road.

Thanks

Shell

Hi Chris.
i am from the West Midlands
I may have done it all before but I am no way a serious athlete. I did my first ironman distance on 6 hours training a week as I was a single mom at the time and I was told i wasn;t capable.
My weight has gone up and I struggle with what I eat. I basically eat crap. I need taking in hand.
My other problem is I hate cycling and loathe the turbo.....

Big problem.....

Think I may just start off and see how I go and not commit to anything YET!!!!

hi Shell

If you need encouragement [I certainly do] then this is the site to see - these people are very encouraging.

I'm a complete beginner so won't attempt to say any more than, "Welcome"

from a fat Englishman in Wales
