Any interest in a turkey trot from you detroiters?  I believe I'll be running the detroit one, not the AA one, doing the 10K and my kids doing the mashed potato mile.

I would love to do it but considering my lack of training the past few weeks, I'm not sure I can do a 10K in November.  Then again, it would be something to shoot for and get me back on track with training!  My mom and dad are doing it!  And my son could do the Mashed Potato Mile...hmmmm...I just may do it.

I'm a tentative yes - as long as the knee continues to improve.  My sister would probably run too.

Thinking about doing the Detroit Turkey Trot 10K. It's just so stinkin close to home and I'd love a crack at breaking my 10K PR. (Heat the Streets in Feb. at Detroit, 50.51)

US thanksgiving morning.  Not to be confused with the Canadian thanksgiving morning, which occurs in March or something.

A word to the wise... it took my sister and I forever to park.  Traffic was horrible once we got inside the city.  We parked at Cobo I think.  Maybe not a good idea?  Race also started 30 minutes late!

I still had a blast though!   Thousands ran.  Great atmosphere!

I'm officially 'in' for the Turkey Trot.  Actually, my kids are in for the Mashed Potato Mile at 7:30.  If I can find kid coverage (seeing if the Au Pair can cover), I'll plan on doing the 10K - not at race pace, as I'm off training, but just for fun...
