This is an interesting race that a buddy of mine and a friends are thinking of doing over Memorial Day weekend next spring.

It is a team multi-event race, 4 races, 3 days with lodging provided and some meals for the entry fee of $300/team of 2.  Basic idea is a sprint on Friday night, 2 Olympic distance races on Saturday, and a ½ Ironman on Sunday…it all adds up to about a full Ironman distance race spread over 3 days.

Check it out and find a partner, it should be a great time, race fees go up to $350 November 1st and $400 on December 1st.  The field is limited to 50 team spots, and for you crazies out there 40 individual spotsJ

That looks like just the crazy sort of event I'd love to do. I wonder if it's worth traveling from California for!

I first saw this mentioned on another thread a few weeks ago.  It looks like a cool event.  Do the two-member teams do all four races or what?  The site mentions that for some of the races  team members must finish together.  Other races are billed as individual races.  Anyone understand exactly how it works?

HFP puts on a good show. It looks like teams compete together (allowed to draft) with individuals racing in their own race at the same time. I think I may do the Oly!

Hot damn!  That's just my type of event.  But I wouldn't be able to run CapTex next year if I did it.  Not because that would make 5 races in 4 days; I wouldn't be able to make it to Austin in time for packet pick-up.

This is a tough one.  If only it wasn't in Ohio!

Dude, we knew you were special... but this is too much!
