Subject: Blue Ridge Park way
I'll be traveling down to Fl the second week of Dec. Along the way I'll drive near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Does anyone want to get togther for a ride along the blue ridge parkway? I'm not sure what the weather will be like, but if it's not snowing or if there isn't snow on the ground I'll be good to go. Where? I would perfer something from mile marker 345 - 469. Distance? I'm not sure, I'm a flatlander so mountians are going to kill me.

I'm not sure what mile marker it is...but Boone, NC has a strong cycling community. You could probably call one of the shops there and get in on one of they're weekly rides. And yes, it will be very cold. The mountains of NC have weather equivalant to lower New England.
