AHHHH, It's Monday and it seems like it will never end. I'm here at work with really nothing to do. Everything is in a holding pattern until I get some equipment fixed. But on the upside, one week till Thanksgiving!!! Ohhh the turkey, the potatoes..... I can't wait. Then two weeks after that the start of christmas break!!! Thats a good 5 week vacation. Down in FL I can get some good bike ride in down there, with all the good weather.

"Tropical Depression 24 formed today off the coast of Jamaica ..." . Apparently lots of things don't want to end.  Just kidding. I'm cranky because my phone won't stop ringing so I hear you.  The weather has been beautiful down here - enjoy your five weeks!

OH TURKEY CRAP!

I still have to order a turkey.  And decide what side dishes I'm gonna make.  And figure out who all is coming and when and what....

Sigh.

And Tuesday begins. But it's the same old story. I've already finished all the work I can do today, now 5.5 hours of boredom. The weather is looking up, maybe snow tonite with snow on Thursday!!!!Smile

Sounds excruciating. Wish I had that problem.

It might be a nice "break" every now and then, from a hectic day... but trust me... IT SUCKS day after day after day...

In my past, I've had to work various temp jobs, and the worst were jobs where there was nothing to do.  I'd rather do some lousy filing or dataentry than sit and stare at a wall.  Some places would let me bring a book, but sometimes I was at the front desk and couldn't be seen reading, so I'd have to stare at the computer screen, looking like I was busy...  that's when I discovered online forums (craigslist.org saved my life).

Now I'm unemployed, and have to spend my days looking for work... and when that gets old, or I've exhausted my searches, I have the rest of the day to goof off.  And even that gets old after a while, believe it or not.
