What kinda gloves do ya'll use to keep your fingers from going numb? Temps in NW IN can get chilly, in the 40's.

Also I'm looking for a cycling computer that is wireless and has candence function. Any recommendations?

Thanks

I hated spending the money, but I love my Pearl Izumi long-fingered windstopper gloves. I rode in the lower 30's the other day and felt good the whole time.

Can't help you on the computer ...

This Garmin should be available at the first of the year. It comes with either a heart rate monitor or a cadence sensor and if you want both you can purchase the other separately. Have not had the opportunity to try it personally yet, but it appears to be very nice.

Mavic Win-Tech Wireless Computer comes with a cadence kit. I have used this and liked it.

Let us know what you get and how you like it....

Cateye makes a computer with wireless cadence, but reportedly it interferes with (or is interfered with by) heart rate monitors. $130 here:

I have Cateye that does cadence but it was much cheaper, around $40. What does wireless mean in a bike computer? This is just a little thingie on the handlebars and a couple of other little thingies and the bike and rear tire. Are there wires I didn't notice somewhere in my cheapo version?

And are y'all starting to glean why the guys in my LBS are often laughing at me?

Don't you have wires leading from your computer to the "little thingies"?
