It is $30 each for my wife and I, $25 each for my kids to do the "Kids Dash". $110 is bit much for us to do a 5k and the kids to do a 1 mile. So wifey and I are getting up early and doing a 5 mile run, then we will run another 1 mile with the kids. |

It's gonna be coooold. Then all I have to do is shower and show up at my mom's. It's the first time in 8 years that my husband and I are not cooking and hosting Thanksgiving.  |

| St. Louis, MO | Subject: RE: Turkey Day Turkey Trot - Got One? I do, I do! It's a long standing tradition in a neighboring town- Kirkwood/Webster Turkey Day run. Run takes place before rival high school football game. I haven't done it before, but great crowd and lots of families from what I hear. My beef is this...there is a 3 mile and 6 mile route. The 3 mile starts at 8, the 6 mile 8:30. Route support ends for both races at 9:30, so anyone that runs slower than a 10/min mile can't run the 6 mile. I wanted to do the 6 mile, but I haven't been running enough to get through that in 60 minutes...so, the 3 mile it is. Might have to earn my second piece of pie by taking my dog for a nice long walk afterwards. Kudos to all of you battling nasty weather forecasts! We will be chilly (30-35) but no precip!
