HaHa! Some people think of newfoundland as hell. But it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is just that we get caught with a late season snowstorm in the spring.Lots of ice offshore ( and pretty icebergs )makes it cold in the spring.Yesterday I couldn't run into the wind at all as the sweat on my forehead was giving me a "cold headache", forgot my hat. The saying around here is you swim in ice water you can't help being cold.Or if you don't like the weather wait ten mins.

I know what you mean about the "cold headache". That is what I got from not bringing my tuque with me the last time out. Today I was prepared with a nice warm neoprene tuque in my pocket just to be on the safe side and I am glad I did. I sweat terribly whether it is hot or cold outside so that my head gets all wet and when that darned north wind hits my forehead, it's like having my head caught in a vice. I hadn't done a half kilometer when I was forced to put it on.

Yes, Newfoundland is a wonderful and beautiful place. I have been there three times and can't wait to go back. I hope the snow leaves as quickly as it fell.

Thanks for the nice words of my homeland. So as it snowed I was feeling pissed off and full of energy so I did an indoor brick workout. It went well , well it was mor like a spin class ( hour) plus a three mile run on treadmill. Good heartrate workout. I felt great on the treadmill was flying until the 2.5 mark and almost came to a dead stop with nausea.Have a feeling that my core temp got up nice and high and the gatorade began to boil in my stomach. Either that or the flu is trying to get me. Snow is melting already.
