Subject: 5k accomplished in the cold!
I am having trouble posting my race log, so I thought I would post something here. Finished my 5k in 27:25....it was quite cold and very windy out, so I am pleased with myself.
Can't wait to hear from the other racers today! I'm pumped!

Excellent time. I went out today with the intention of doing 6kms but ended up doing 7 (in 47:49). My pace was nice and slow as I am starting to add distance on Sundays. I want to do a half-marathon tri this fall so I have to add distance....maybe an an extra half klik every Sunday until September should get me ready.

Good for you !!! I had a kind of off week- had been thinkng about a local 5 k but decided to wait until next weekend- as it turned out I had a pretty good run day on Sunday- kicking myself now, cuz the race this weekend is 4 miles instead of 5 K..!!! That's what I get for procrastinating, eh? Glad you were happy with your day...what's next ???
