Miami Tri - anone done it?

This is the Escape to Miami tri. I did it and have a race report. It was a well run race for the inaugural one. It was a tough swim with lots of current, a hard bike with 2 loops and 2 intercoastal bridges, and an extremely hot run along one of the causeways. Lots of people were walking on the run due to the heat. The water stops weren't very good, about a mile between each and some were more.

Try this. I will probably sign up again next year.

Good going on your race, sounds like a real doozy.

There are a lot of great races in the South Florida area. Hope to see you down here for one.

So far, the only one in the FL area I have is St. A's. I may do Miami and hope to meet up with ya. BTW - I have family in Boca.

Also a nice race in FL is the Health First Olympic usually held in mid Oct up the coast in Melbourne FL. Lots of bridges for the bike and run like E.T.M (http://www.healthfirsttri.com/maps/)

I was looking at the E.T.M race but it was too close to the race above.
