Subject: Week of April 26 Articles!

Allright people, for the week of April 26th some new articles on the main site: http://beginnertriathlete.com

We have Michael giving us some pointers on how to handle when your tri life and non-tri life converge.  Our resident pro, Daniel Clout (who just won the New Zealand Duathlon Nationals - see below) has an excellant article on the types of coaches and choosing one.  Our Average Joe actually came back to file a month two report on getting fit again.  Gareth, British swiming coach has some drills to help you on bilateral breathing...although it is a little detailed on the drills and you may need your coaches help.  Steve M got injured and our newest columnist, Adam, is going against the odds and gearing up on his 1/2 IM training from scratch.

Hope you enjoy and then next week we have some goodies too as infosteward and her crew are gearing up for their debut.

Regarding our writer, Daniel Clout on his victory (feel free to send him fan mail...he is a great contributor to bt [email protected] )

"Clout wins gold at Duathlon New Zealand nationals

Daniel Clout won New Zealand Duathlon Nationals in his 20-24 age group,
4th overall against a combined field of elite and age group athletes.
Clout produced a personal best by 6 minutes; his time was 1:52:34. The
race was a standard 10km run, 40km cycle, and 5km run in non-drafting
format.

Mark Bailey did overall honours in 1:46:31, his 5th consecutive win in
this race.

This is Clout’s 5th win this year along with his 2nd New Zealand title
after winning his age group in the Triathlon Champs last month.

“I am thrilled to have raced well in New Zealand, against strong
competition.”

Clout heads abroad to Granite Bay, California next month to compete in the
US for their triathlon season. Along with looking forward to competing in
the Triathlon World Championships in Madeira Island, Portugal on May 8th."
