ok, now I know you're all out there doing stuff, that's why no one has started this thread, right?

3.2 mile run in the rain, I'll bike later when it clears up.

4.5 mile run last night

Swim tonight (maybe 1000 yard. Have to shorten it because I am taking two of my kids to the pool with me.)

Uggh. Last night didn't work out too well. Instead of doing Pilates and a quick run, I went home and took a nap. Even after that, I fell asleep quickly at 10 pm, which leads me to believe I had a touch of food poisoning. I think my turkey had turned just enough to make me feel icky but not enough to make it really obvious.

Anyway, TODAY I'm going to head to the gym at lunch for weights and then do a 60 min bike tonight. Oh, and I'm breaking out the new turkey slices today.

Well, I've completely messed up my schedule for the week. I succumbed to temptation yesterday, and rode my bike rather than swimming. But now I'm behind a swim, which I can only do at set times -as in, when the pool is open. So, I may finish the week behind a bit. We'll see.

I'd like to say that I'll work extra hard today, but today is a physical therapy day. Honest to Pete, that just wears me out. I seriously thought "two sessions... I'm in. I'm out. I'm fixed." Wishful thinking: the story of my life!!!! So, I don't know how much I'll actually get done, but I'm aiming for:

physical therapy
a short swim -1 km
yoga
30 minutes of abs work

Well see....

I woulda felt guilty about starting the thread at 3 AM when I went to bed. I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do today, but I'm leaning towards a 5 mile run. I think it sorta depends on the alignment of the planets.

Swam 3600 yds this am. First time in wetsuit. Swam my mile in 24:00!! Fastest ever for me. Swimming w/ the wetsuit sure is a different feeling.

Feel kind of like a bobber. They are much more buoyant than I thought. Anyway, club ride tonight. I think 21 miles.

Easy day -- 6 miles with hills on bike trainer and 2 miles of interval hill work on the treadmill.

Then I went out to breakfast with a couple of friends. That made my day.

Woke at 6:30 am, ate a good breakfast, did homework, planned my STUDY ABROAD trip, and am now in my music notation class.
Plan either to bike for 1-1.5 hours today, or bike for 30 minutes and swim for 30. We shall see as time permits. I've got a busy day ahead of me.

Nothing.

Sigh. I was supposed to get up and swim with a friend this morning, but when I woke up I was so congested that I couldn't hardly manage to get out of bed. I knew swimming was out.

I'm hoping this passes quickly. If I'm feeling better I might do an easy bike ride later today, or even just a long walk with my husband.

Did my first Master Swimming class today. OH MY GOD!!!! CAN YOU SAY OH MY GOD!I usually swim about 800 m, twice a day and 1500-1600 on weekends. I'm a pretty good swimmer, not that fast but not that slow either. But I knew I was in trouble when I walked up to the pool at Colorado College and saw the workout taped to a kick board.THE WARM UP WAS 1,000 M. What? Then the big set was 1800-2400 meters. Then a 1,000m cool down. I mean, my Lord what is the deal? Are these people all crazy? I wasn't too scared of the distance (well, not really scared anyway) but you swim in heats and the slowest lane was 2 min 100 yards. So I had six people behind/in front of me so I hand to swim in 2 min 100 yard intervals which is faster than I've ever swam. Needless to say for the first time ever in my swim workouts I had to take breaks about every 400 meters or so. It was completely insane and I can't wait to go back on Friday! Woo Hoo! Happy training all Ovetta.

Yikes Ovetta! I was so proud of swimming 2000 yards today and then I see your Master's Class. Wow! I also ran on the treadmill and found out that I'm not covering much distance in my 13 minute runs. But I have upped the intensity this week so am happy about that!!

Well I will try not to compare my run to everyone else's today. I did a 19min run , 1.61miles!! My time per mile has gone down over 1 minute since last week. Probably due to the fact that I can breathe a little better and its a little warmer.....or maybe all of this training stuff is working .

I think I'm gonna wimp out tonight...work went over an extra hour and now I'm pooped. I was starved when I got home and ate a big ole linguisa sandwich...not conducive to pre-exercise food. Uggh. I might try my core video later, we'll see.
Good job everyone!

Back from a four week break (exams) i had my first track session today. [1200] x 3 (3min recovery), kept a resonable pace of about 72 second laps. Didnt feel too great afterwards - serves me right for taking so much time off i guess
