Subject: Yet Another Tri Swim Question
I've entered my second mini-Tri which takes place this Sunday (400yd swim/12 mi bike/2 mi run). The swim is in an outdoor pool at a local water amusement park. The temp race morning is forecast to be in the low 60s. I don't believe the pool is heated. Is there a minimum water temp for the swim portion? I can't imagine very many folks having wet suits as this is advertised as a beginner's tri.

The swim portion should be pretty interesting, regardless, since I just received an email from the organizers asking what about my 100 yd swim time. They now want to seed the swim. I'm glad they are attempting it; just seems a little late in the game.

Don't know anything about minimum swim temps. However, there is not unheated body of water in my area that you could get in this Sunday without a wetsuit!! And the weather here has been pretty mild this spring.
